BUILDERnews, formerly NW Builder magazine, expands influence to six western states
Vancouver, WA – Pacific NW Sales & Marketing, Inc., publisher of BUILDERnews magazine (www.buildernewsmag.com), announced that it will expand its building industry news and market influence in January '04 to include select, top builders in California, Arizona and Nevada. The magazine is currently sent to 25,000 residential, mixed-use and light commercial building trade professionals within high-growth, Pacific Northwest markets.
BUILDERnews' editorial reports on the western region's best builder projects, product innovations, business practices, market analyses and in-depth perspectives on current issues that affect builders' profits. "This is a benchmark for our company; the expansion will meet western builders' growing demands for local and regional news that will help them make good business decisions and add to their profits," says D.C. Curry, BUILDERnews publisher.
In September '03, BUILDERnews succeeded NW Builder magazine, published since 1999. "The name change better reflects our growing regional coverage and news format," says Curry. "We have been and will continue to be the largest regional building trade publication in the nation." With a circulation of 35,000 and a documented average pass-along rate of 3.3, the magazine will be read by more than 150,000 building pros each month.
Manufacturers, distributors and retailers are responding with enthusiasm for the expansion, as well. Says Lynn Davis, national sales manager for Occidental Leather, Inc., "BUILDERnews has ... brought to the table a new industry standard with cutting-edge information that enlightens, educates and enhances our industry." Dennis McWhirter of Exterior Wood, Inc. adds that BUILDERnews "...is the most in-depth publication throughout the region, [and] is one of our most effective marketing tools in reaching the construction trade professional."
Reporting the West's "hot" building markets' news, influencing where and how "top" professionals develop, build and market their products, and educating the trade with new products that help save time or add profits is what will keep BUILDERnews at the forefront of the building trade communications industry.
