(Vancouver, Wash. — November 12, 2007) – PACIFIC NORTHWEST PUBLISHING’S BUILDERnews MAGAZINE, Named one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing media companies in 2007, ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE 2007 BEST PRODUCTS AWARD.
In the December issue, BUILDERnews honors the Best Products of 2007, which is an annual award recognizing the best newly introduced (or improved) products for homebuilders.
This year’s winners included 29 products in the following categories: Structural, Plumbing, Tools, Design, Green, Safety, Kitchen and Bath, Efficient, Indulgent and Innovative. They range from a meandering river-like kitchen sink to a 61-inch theater spa for the outdoors and everything in between that builders can utilize to build a better home.
The nominations from BUILDERnews readers, advisory and editorial board rolled in and there were tough decisions to make based on innovative technology, utility and inventiveness. But ultimately almost 30 topnotch products were selected.
The list of winners follows: Structural winners include Litracon Light-Transmitting Concrete, Northwest Door Therma Classic Steel Door and Weathertex By Fortifiber Building Systems Group. Plumbing winners include Insinkerator Evolution, Hansa Clear Lux Showerheads and Neorest Programmable Airbath by TOTO. Tools winners include 10C Technologies 4-Port Crew Charge, JacPac Power System Universal Portable Pneumatic Power Source and The JobClock System Pocket Clock. Green winners include: Green Planet Paints Clay Paint, Second Glass LLC Glass Panels from Recycled Windshields and Greensulate (mushroom insulate). Design winners include: Pegasus Vetro Glass Block from Vetroarredo, Gigacrete Plastermax and Krinklglas Fiberglass Reinforced Copolymer Panel By Dimensional Plastics Corp. Kitchen and Bath winners include KOHLER Expandable Vanities with Express Hinge System, Everpure Carbonated Filter and Elkay Mystic Wave Sink. Safety winners include Kwikset Smart Series Biometric Smartscan, Concrobium Mold Control and Wobble Light. Efficient winners include JELD-WEN Phantom Screens, Timio Pro Series Refrigerated Wall Oven and Premier Power Solar Roof Tile. Indulgent winners include 61-Inch Theater Spa For Outdoors By Catalina Spas and Tailgating Trailer for Jobsites by Gameday Customs. Innovative winners include Laserton Stainless Steel Cabinetry (faux wood), FlatWire Technologies Wiring and Aqus System by Watersaver Technologies. This completes BUILDERnews magazine’s 2007 Best Products Winners.
