August 1, 2007 – Vancouver, Wash. – BUILDERnews magazine issued a list of winners of the publication’s annual Spirit of the West awards, celebrating innovation by home builders and developers across eight categories. The projects all reflect the contributions that many builders are making to the Western U.S., but raise the bar considerably by pushing current limits for conservation, shorter commute times, use of materials and lifestyle or environment awareness.
“These winning builders embody the West’s forward thinking,” states BN magazine publisher JoAnn Hogue. “In fact, they lead the way for others in creating solutions that cater to our busier, modern lifestyles, with innovative building materials, design, and care of the environment.”

Aldeia Development Principal: Steven Ribeiro
