September 18, 2007 – Vancouver, Wash. – BUILDERnews magazine issued a list of honorees in the publication’s 2007 Leading Architects competition, celebrating progressive design by residential architects across the West. While each of the award winners is highly capable in many different areas of expertise, one project was selected to illustrate the innovation that makes them a leader in the industry. What separates these architects is their ability to find creative solutions to market problems, and to distill the process for builders in such a way as to engage their own unique talent.
“Architects complement the hands-on talents of builders,” states BN magazine publisher JoAnn Hogue. “The rhythm—or even the spark—that flies from that collaboration raises the bar for livability at all levels, as new solutions are created.”

Knudson Gloss Architects Principal: Graham Swett
Landmark Lofts, in Boulder, Colo., is comprised of 103 units with one to four bedrooms, and is linked with a direct pedestrian underpass to the University of Colorado campus.
